Poor sport? Girls basketball coach suspended after his team wins 161-2
Fri Jan 16, 2015
I think it's ridiculous that we have to tell a school sports team to play terribly so the other team doesn't lose so bad. Everyone should go out and play their best the whole game. Teaching kids to "hold back" so you don't hurt the other team's feelings is stupid. And...people need to get a life. Yo …
'Normal' or neglect? Parents investigated after letting their children play and walk alone
Fri Jan 16, 2015
In this day and age with so many freaks in the world who target kids I wouldn't allow my child to do it. However, I don't think it's my place to tell other people what they can and can't do with their children (within reason of course...you can't beat them, starve them, etc.).
How often should you wash bath towels? The answer is...
Mon Jan 12, 2015
In reply to:@mommycallahan #2 You must not work outside of the home. I do...and I don't have time to do multiple loads of laundry every day. Whew! Good on you! :)
Put down the phone! How to break your kids free of technology on Thanksgiving
Tue Nov 25, 2014
Kids are incredibly addicted to technology these days and it's not good. They can't write and spell and the art of in-person communication has been all but lost. I saw a kid this weekend whose parents took away her phone (about 10 years old) and had a COMPLETE meltdown that was beyond ridiculous. Pa …
Thousands of children at risk from eating laundry pods, study finds
Mon Nov 10, 2014
First...a nine month old didn't think a POD was candy. She has no concept of what candy is. She got it because it was left in her reach. That is called a lack of parental supervision. Second...anyone with children SHOULD know to store all detergents (laundry, dish, etc.), cleaning supplies, medicati …
How old is too old to trick or treat?
Mon Oct 13, 2014
I don't have a problem with teens trick or treating. It's an opportunity to spend time with family, friends and neighbors. All I ask is that you be polite and put some effort into it by wearing a costume. Don't wear jeans and a hoodie and tell me you're being a teenager. Really? If they're pol …

How to spot a narcissist: Study reveals the only question you need to ask
Tue Aug 5, 2014
In reply to: Bernadette Spitz #1 I'm right there with you Bernadette. My ex-husband was a narcissist. Then I started dating another guy who seemed wonderful...until we lived together and I realized what a narcissist he is too. He's gone now...Thank God! I need to figure out how to weed them out from …
Baby boy doll with realistic-looking penis shocks some parents
Fri Aug 1, 2014
So maybe we shouldn't have dolls at all. If all dolls had "girl" parts then boys can't play with them because they will see what a girl looks like. Really people? Good grief! If you don't like it...DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!
